Pressure Switches for Alarm, Shutdown and Control

Ashcroft A-series pressure switches come standard with a diaphragm-sealed piston or piston actuator for long service life. The stainless steel body is epoxy sealed to protect the precision, snap-acting switch element from extremely harsh environments. An optional sealed switch element improves reliability in harsh or corrosive environments and provides superior contact protection in applications where equipment is washed down or is subject to frequent changes in temperature. Choices include brass or stainless steel, factory set or field adjustable and many standard process and electrical connections.

Ashcroft B-series pressure switches features the Type B-400 pressure switch which is considered to be among the most versatile, general-purpose pressure alarm, shutdown and control switch. Users will find that the B-400 is perfect for most industrial and process applications. Setpoints for pressure are vac. through 3000 psi, for temperature -40F through 750F and for differential pressure 4-inches H2O diff. through 600 psid. A watertight, epoxy-coated aluminum case with NEMA 4, 4X, and IP66 rating keeps the B-400 up to many challenges industrial and process applications present. B-400-series switches are UL and CSA listed.

The Ashcroft Type ® B-700 pressure switch features an explosion-proof NEMA 7/9, IP66 enclosure for applications in hazardous locations. Switch function is single setpoint, fixed deadband, SPDT or single setpoint, fixed deadband (2) SPDT. Setpoints for pressure range from vac. through 3000 psi; for temperature -40o F through 750o F, and for differential pressure 4" H2O diff. through 600 psid.

Ashcroft® F-Series was designed for hazardous locations with its compact design and adjustable, hermetically sealed switch element. It is ideal for pressure or temperature alarm, shutdown and control in applications such as generators, compressors, turbines, and off-shore applications, panels, pipelines, hazardous locations, and corrosive environments; anywhere that size is a consideration. The Ashcroft switch line also includes an L and G-series.

The Ashcroft® N-Series electronic indicating pressure switch provides pressure indication and switch functions in one easy-to-use package. This cost effective solution adds transmission capability to the package with a 4-20 mA output signal. By observing the values on a big, bright LED display, N-Series users can easily toggle between process pressure, setpoint and re-setpoint. The 1/2-inch LED display is much easier to read than LCD displays that are sometimes used for process indication. N-series switches provide a cost-effective alternative to the common approach consisting of a separate switch, gauge and multiple fittings to connect them together. The result is a compact package with only one connection. One connection drastically reduces the number of potential leak points. An optional analog output is also available.
