Pressure Transducer Solutions for Reliable Pressure Sensing

Pressure transducer products are used in applications ranging from high volume OEM to general sensing and heavy industrial. A full line of high quality Ashcroft® pressure transducers manufactured by Dresser Instruments meet the most demanding applications.

The Ashcroft® XL series of pressure transducers family provides high performance in low-pressure applications such as those found in the HVAC industry. This family of Ashcroft® pressure transducer solutions uses a unique, patented SiGlasTM sensor to provide unequalled life, reliability and performance. Users can choose from .25%, 0.5% and 1% full-scale accuracy, including non-linearity, hysteresis and non-repeatability in ranges as low as 0.1 inches of water.

Pressure Switch Products for Alarm, Shutdown and Control

The exclusive SpoolCalTM valve actuator allows transmitters in critical airflow systems to be easily validated and calibrated in-place without disturbing process tubes or wiring. It is ideal for many FDA regulated applications found in the Pharmaceutical and Bio-pharm industries.

The award-winning design was featured in Sensors magazine, and has won The Best of Sensors, Spring 2002; The Automation Excellence Award from IAN, and was a runner-up for the Best Product of the Year Award from Product Design & Development.

For high-pressure applications, Dresser Instruments has introduced the Ashcroft® A2 transmitter. Users can select from a wide variety of configurations to meet virtually every application need for engines, compressors, turbines, pumps and other common, heavy industrial equipment.

This product is especially suited for applications that have wide temperature fluctuations, harsh process fluids or extremes in environment. The Ashcroft® A2 transmitter provides reliable pressure sensing and transmitting at a low price.

The Ashcroft® K-series family of high pressure transducers includes variations that have been designed to meet the demands of industrial applications such as pulp and paper and wastewater as well as sanitary processes. The K-series features extremely stable polysilicon thin film sensing technology that provides a very stable output that is unaffected by vibration, shock, and pulsation.

The Ashcroft KM10 is ideally suited for pressure monitoring applications on construction machinery, off-road equipment, compressors, pumps and other industrial equipment where stable and accurate output signals are required at an economical price. It is stable in the presence of RFI and EMI.

This pressure transducer carries CE designation and features a polysilicon thin-film sensor welded to a stainless steel process connection. Other construction elements enable the Ashcroft KM10 to achieve an ingress rating of IP67 for protection against the effects of weather, wash downs, and temporary immersion in water. Calibration, by digital signal conditioning, results in an extremely linear and repeatable pressure instrument. It is available in pressure ranges through 7500 psi. Two ratiometric output signals are available as well as three electric termination wiring options, including detachable.
