Ashcroft® Offers FM-approved RTD and Thermocouple Instruments
Stratford, CT – Ashcroft, a global leader in pressure and temperature instrumentation, is pleased to announce additional models of RTDs and Thermocouples are now FM approved. These new probes round out Ashcroft’s full line of temperature monitoring instruments designed for hazardous locations.
New Ashcroft FM-Approved Instruments
- Ashcroft® Direct-mount S50 RTDs and Thermocouples with spring-loaded fittings now have FM, Class 1 Division I explosion proof approval.
- Ashcroft® Remote-mount S80 Thermocouple and S81 RTD probes with remote heads now have FM, Class 1, Division II, non-incendive approval.
What This Approval Means for Ashcroft Customers
All Ashcroft RTD and thermocouple probes are designed for both industrial temperature measurements and critical installations, ensuring reliable performance across diverse applications. Each probe is custom configured to meet exact application and approval requirements.
The entire temperature probe product line includes intrinsically safe versions for hazardous locations, with options for direct wiring, a terminal block or integration with a 4-20 mA output transmitter and various head configurations.
With a broad selection of connections, stems, lags and thermowells, the Ashcroft® S01, S10, S50, S70, S80 & S81 RTD and thermocouple probes can be custom configured to meet the specifications of nearly any EPC or project requirement.
