We’re Celebrating Our 160th Birthday!
In 1852, the burgeoning use of steam power led Edward Ashcroft to produce his first revolutionary “Bourdon tube” pressure gauge. With the growing need for more accurate and reliable instrumentation, Ashcroft® gauges soon became a staple on board steam ships, railroad locomotives and in industries throughout North America. Over the years, Ashcroft instruments have been specified for use in a wide variety of applications. From rocket launching platforms to nuclear submarines, the Ashcroft logo remains a common sight that has come to symbolize quality and reliability.
Today, Ashcroft Inc. produces a complete line of state-of-the-art electronic and modern mechanical instruments. Our offering includes transducers, transmitters, gauges, switches, isolation devices, high precision test instruments and thermometers that carry the Ashcroft®, Heise®, Weksler® and Willy® brands. With manufacturing and assembly operations in the United States, Brazil, China, Germany, Mexico and Singapore (along with joint ventures in India and Saudi Arabia) and an international distribution network, Ashcroft has gained global recognition as a world class instrumentation supplier. On this special occasion, we thank you for your patronage and look forward to continuing to provide you with the same high quality products and services that have made us an industry leader since 1852!
